WEEE & e-waste
WEEE Disposal & E-Waste Recycling
UK businesses have a legal duty of care for the disposal of anything with a plug, battery or circuit board. We make that duty of care a paperwork exercise that takes you ten minutes — not ten hours.
What WEEE actually means for your business
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations make you responsible for the lawful disposal of every electronic item your business retires. The penalty for getting it wrong — fly-tipping, unlicensed disposal, an audit failure — falls on you, not on the firm you handed it to.
MakeITgood is registered with the Environment Agency as a waste carrier (CBDU311007), so the duty-of-care chain ends with us, properly. You get a WEEE certificate per collection, broken down by weight and EEE category.
Zero to landfill, every time
Reusable kit goes back into circulation through refurbishment. Components get harvested for spares. End-of-life material is processed by permitted downstream recyclers under our duty-of-care contract. Nothing in the chain is sent to landfill.
We weight, log and report every consignment so you can plug the data straight into your ESG report or Streamlined Energy & Carbon Reporting return.
